Surprise {30th} Birthday!

Over the weekend we {attempted} to surprise Katie with a party for her 30th Birthday.  We were semi-successful...she had just arrived back from a trip to Seattle and was a little anxious to see her doggies.  So what that she got there before half of the guests...she was still happy and surprised to see everyone!  It was a fun party and a mini-reunion...so many friends and parents from high school.  To still be close friends with so many people from grade school really speaks volumes {I think} about our little community and the way were were raised...it really does take a village.  I hope my kiddos get to to have the same experience once they start school...to be loved and cared for by so many...really warms my heart.
