I am determined to make memories for my kids...but of course on a shoestring budget. I must say I really liked this idea I found on Pinterest...a Christmas goodies box of sorts, but I didn't like the fact that this was reserved for Christmas Eve. I mean really...I want to get some wear out of those jammies! So {hopefully} we started a new tradition of Christmas PJs on Thanksgiving night.
Anyway...I was particularly happy with the way this one turned out. I purchased the PJs on clearance last year at Target. I had to go with a 2T for Andy in order to get them to match his brother...but they were only just a tad too big. Even better...it was a 2 pack...because we were getting a little needy in the PJ department. I cleaned out a stack of DVDs at Gigi's and found/scavenged an unopened Rudolph...original claymation version. It just so happened to be Daddy's favorite growing up. {I on the other hand find claymation a little creepy for whatever reason.} Popcorn in the cupboard and hot chocolate (which was really unnecessary but sounded good) was on sale BOGO at Publix.

I had the Christmas Kickoff Box waiting for them when they woke from their naps. P and C were all about it. Andy just wanted Momma to hold him.

Aunt K brought Madison and all of her "boys" over to watch Rudolph and have popcorn Thanksgiving night. I'm hoping it is a new tradition for our crew!

Looking forward to celebrating Christmas for the next month. Now if I can just get the tree and decorations up before work starts back on Monday!
