P and C celebrated their actual birthday day by having lunch with Daddy at Firehouse Subs. Firehouse even treated them both to a free brownie! Awesome! They each got to open a gift (boring PJs) to get them in the pirate and princess spirit! I hope to continue the lunch tradition with each kiddo for as long as possible...I even had a moment leaving the DQ where I imagined driving to Athens to visit my college babies at UGA and take them to lunch. {Whoa...slow down time!}

We then headed off for haircuts and an ice cream cake from Dairy Queen. Those things are ridiculous...that chocolate crunchy center...yum.
Poppie, Gigi, and Granny came over later that night for ice cream cake and gifts. We sang Happy Birthday opened a few gifts, listened to poor Andy Boy cry because it wasn't his birthday, and played on the tricycles before we realized that they were too tall to keep them.
We had our Pirate and Princess Party two days later and what fun we had...even with the rain!
We finished up birthday week (okay...week after birthday week} with a visit to see Dr. H for our well check...
Both kiddos were extremely well-behaved and cooperative and even excited about being there. It was great. Two healthy and tall

Wow, can't believe they are 3! Such cuties. I bet they were adorable as a pirate and princess!
