Now I realize that a party for my 2 year old twins is really still a party for me...but those kiddos had fun! I don't know what it is about celebrating birthdays. My momma always made a big fuss over our birthdays...she made our cakes and always had something fun for us to do and I guess it just carried over to me. I think it also in part because I want to celebrate the joy that these kiddos bring me (and their Daddy, and Gigi and Poppie...you get the picture.)
Inspiration for the theme was P and C's love of all things Mickey Mouse Clubhouse. Of course, the new "thing" is Curious George, but this momma was not changing course. My goal was to have a "small" party (ha) that was simple, cute, and done on the cheap. Family and friends came to celebrate two years of Parker and Caroline...what an amazing two years it has been! Parker and Caroline are such fun little handfuls...
