Yesterday my Granny Mary turned 88 years young! She is such a loving and kind and funny woman...and let me tell you...she doesn't miss a beat. We went over to her house to sing Happy Birthday and have some cake. P was passing out the birthday lovin' and C even gave a few hugs. She is quite good at saying "Happy" for "Happy Birthday" and also pretty good at singing "Happy Birthday Choo-Choo". Andy showed off a little for Granny by taking a few steps here and there.
The Babe found some {used} candles up in the cabinet that were supposed to spell out Happy Birthday. But, unfortunately a few were broken so instead of Happy Birthday...it said Happy Day. I am not sure why this struck me so funny...but alas it did.
Gigi, Poppie, and Madison were also at Granny's wishing her a Happy Birthday...and we all had such a good time. We love our Granny so much!
