Happily Ever After

Over the weekend one of our longtime family friends {and P and C's nanny for a short period of time} got married!  We were so happy to take part in such a happy day and visit with so many friends who are like family.  M is the youngest daughter of longtime family friends {who growing up were like second parents to me} and sister of one of my childhood best friends and sister of one of my sister's best friends {wow...lots of sisters and friends!}.  She mentioned to us at the wedding that The Babe and I were like her brother and sister and come to think of it...she was probably 8 years old when we started dating!

The wedding was in the backyard of D and B's gorgeous home...and they planned a darling wedding with so many darling little touches.  Laid back yet classy.  It was great.  I wish we could have stayed until the end because I hear there were beautiful chinese lanterns that were lit and filled the air as the newlyweds departed.
