A Chick-fil-a First

Typically on the Babe's day off from work we head to Chick-fil-a for dinner.  Yes, I know...fine dining at it's best.  I'm ashamed to admit the amount of Chick-fil-a our little family consumes...we should probably have reserved seating.  Now up until today we have been able to ignore the fact that most all of the Chick-fil-a's around town have a playground.  Not anymore.  After eating their nuggets and applesauce and ice cream...P and C asked ever so sweetly to go play.  How could we resist?

Now I know it isn't the first time P and C have convinced adults {ahem Poppie and Gigi} to play, but it is the first time Mommy and Daddy have given in. And let me tell you...those kids had a ball!

Andy watched from the sidelines and rested after a tough 24 hours and a doctor's visit this afternoon.  He was tested for strep for the 2nd time in two weeks...still negative.  We thought we were shaking this bug but for some reason it just won't go away.  But,  a few nuggets must of done the trick because he was feeling much better by the time we got home.Hopefully the fever will be 100% gone tomorrow or back to the doctor we go for bloodwork.  No fun.

Now it was all fun and games until it was time to go bye-bye...Caroline was not having it.  The Babe had to crawl into the playground and drag the child out kicking and screaming.  {If the lady who commented to us while eating that the kiddos were so well behaved could have only seen the sight...sheesh.}

After dinner we had to swing by and pick up a gift for a special soon to be 12 year old...another birthday tomorrow!
